Today's progression:
Completed detailed col, tweaked exterior body more, improved stairs, added new flappers, fatted engines' belly (google "learjet" - what shamal is based on irl), etc.

So i have 3 questions

¿is this enterable?
¿Can you start driving it from the inside?
¿If not, is it possible to create a script for it?

Like, drink something, seat etc?
Would be nice if there is some particular pilot.

Ya, we need a script.
Working headlights.
Extra rotating dummies/parts (for e.g., this GTA SA Shamal's front landing gear only has one rotating dummy/part. Shamal we working on's front landing gear needs two rotating dummies/parts. Google "Learjet 55" and see how its front landing gear works - we want that).

Pretty much all we want for now.

A pilot that drives a plane while cj sits in its interior, eating, drinking, watching tv, etc flying from point A to point B would be super sweet.


Progression since my last post:
Blue interior's hallway is completed thus the whole blue interior is completed. Thinned the lines on the exterior body. Changed tube tv in gold interior to flat tv (non-widescreen). Changed TV screen texture to black blank texture (as if not on. Didn't make sense for the tvs to be still on when the plane's crashed on ground). Optimized dff with a bunch of 3ds max scripts that clean/optimize meshes such as dead verticles, double faces, useless materials, verticle welds, etc - reduced dff size around 20-30% down. Added flat bolts to windowshield's rim. And stuff.

Left to do:
Cockpit.
Bug fixes.

I'm porting Learjet 45's cockpit from MS Flight Simulator X to GTA SA Shamal.

Used Reshade's MXAO.

This mod will be adapted with AI planes mod (and requires it).

We decided to ditch polygonal lines on the exterior body and replaced with a body texture with lines on it. Polygonal lines were aliasing too much on low screen resolution (and were too buggy - most of lines weren't attached/snapped to the body properly). Cuz of this decision I had to "redo" the entire exterior body. Cuz we ended up going with a texture with lines on it for the exterior body - baked AO (and fake lighting) on exterior body is back, and dirt is out (cannot use two textures - ao and dirt - on same material. edit: actually I might be wrong on this).

AI planes mod is adapted (enhanced landing gears, rudder, etc functions).

Added baked AO to cockpit's instruments/panel.

Etc.

Shamal's almost completed. Not much to do left (mostly just bug fixing/tweaking).

See the difference between with and without MXAO pics, both with baked AO:

Baked AO + MXAO (my custom MXAO config) seem acceptable.

We thought the windowshield holder looked too amateurish (the result of meshsmooth). So I remade the holder (from scratch - no meshsmooth).

When we thought everything was done, we (mostly Kkjj) keep coming up with new ideas to improve Shamal.
Some features (compass, atitude, etc functions from AI Planes for e.g.) won't be included in this first Shamal release (but will be included in the next update after this Shamal release). I'm just super burned out from modding and want a break for a bit while (I plan to have a break after releasing this Shamal mod).

Someone requested to watch me mod Shamal. So, streaming myself modding Shamal. Many pauses in the video are due to me doing stuff on my other monitor (I'm on dual monitors). Conversations/discussions with Kkjj, discord, etc. I just formatted my PC (reinstalled windows 10). So, setting stuff up for modding GTA SA (V-Ray Next, Corona, scripts/plugins, 3ds Max, etc) at the beginning of the video. Maybe learn stuff from me and/or give me tips on improving myself and/or Shamal.
