Probably new versions can come back to report as virus, we probably have to keep sending there for them to resolve this false-positive on asi files over time. This may help the plugin-sdk in general.

But I renamed to .dll, also, in the description I sent the github page and quoted about plugin-sdk, that this problem only appears on files created with plugin-sdk, but not all of them.
It's a new problem, started months ago, we need to find out exactly where it comes from, or try to get Windows Defender to stop reporting as a virus. This is very annoying for users.
Loading images freezes the current thread, so I've chosen to load images at the game start instead of freezing or lagging the game while playing. I've tried creating a separate thread for it but seems like Dx9 doesn't come with `

But could you check for a new update only once a day? It's annoying every time I open the game it causes a 1 second freeze checking for update, and it even shows a message on the screen that there is no update, it's not nice to have a mod installed that does this every time you start the game.
It's also got a lot of virus accusations, including Windows Defender, and yeah, very similar to MixSets... I agree, it's terrible to try to solve this, but if you want, I always solve the problem by self signing the .asi file:

This was the first simple form I found, there are automated ways, along with Visual Studio etc, but I didn't look any further.
I don't think it's the updater causing the delay (probably the dx image loader) but I'd make it less annoying by checking once a day.
I did try adding a certificate. It does get rid of some accusations but some still do remain.

DirectX 11 support is there for Renderhook. Probably vulkan too sometime later. Why was the dx11 texture loader was called? Moonloader version had a protegease translation. The newer asi ones would be harder to translate since you'd need to setup VS & all other stuff to compile it. But feel free to fork it and translate.

Aight so, I took a deeper look into the issue but still no luck. Thanks to Zeneric & L0ne for doing tests. Two issues were reported which seem to be close. Unhandled exception at offset

Anyone testing it out and letting me know would be highly appreciated. here

Maybe a version compiled as debug may help to understand it.
I can test it better soon, install it on a 100% clean game etc.
