In this thread I have multiple mod ideas. I'll be updating it over time as more thoughts come to me.

Remove/toggle the "cleanliness" mechanic
(Could be added as a toggle in MixSets?)
In vanilla gameplay, if you go for a long period of time without changing your clothing, NPCs will negatively comment about it.
Having a toggle for this feature would be ideal for players who wish to stick with specific sets of attire without the "negative" drawback.

Improve tattoo recognition based on clothing
(Could be combined with Mod #3 below)
NPCs can comment either negatively or positively about your tattoos, and tattoos also modify your Sex Appeal and Respect stats.
This even happens in attire that completely covers any tattoos.
It would be ideal to have "categories" of clothing that negate comments/Sex Appeal/Respect related to the tattoo'd areas that get covered.
I have the following setup ideas:
- A complete list of these existing categories and default clothes assigned to them, within an .ini file:
- "longsleeve" category - negates tattoo recognition/stat change completely, since every tattoo area is covered.
- "shortsleeve" category - negates tattoo recognition/stat change on the torso and upper arms, since lower arms are exposed.
- "tanktop" category - negates tattoo recognition/stat change on the torso only, since upper and lower arms are exposed.
- "topless" category - does not restrict tattoo recognition/stat change at all.
- The ability to add custom/modded attire to any category within the .ini file.
- Mod #3 -
Improve Gang recognition based on clothing/tattoos/mission progress
(Could be combined with Mod #2 above)
Gang members seem to always know who you are and what gang you represent.
It would be ideal to have this modified in a more realistic and believable manner.
This could also be made compatible (or combined) with the request above this one about tattoos.
I have the following setup ideas:
- General
- A complete list of clothing and tattoos considered "Grove-related" that can be modified and expanded upon for recognition, within an .ini file
- When you first arrive in San Andreas, nobody knows who you are. Not even the Grove. You have not made yourself known.
- In this state, you are unable to even TRY to recruit Grove members whatsoever. No gangs will be hostile towards you.
- Grove Street Families (Grove, Seville Boulevard, Temple Drive)
- You can recruit them after the mission "Nines and AK's" (unlock clothing) if wearing Grove-related clothing.
- WITH mod #2: You can recruit them after the mission "Ryder" (unlock tattoos) if you have visible Grove tattoos.
- Ballas (Front Yard, Rollin' Heights, Kilo Trays, and Temple Drive)
- They will approach/become hostile after the mission "Nines and AK's" if wearing Grove-related clothing.
- WITH Mod #2: They will approach/become hostile after the mission "Ryder" if you have visible Grove tattoos.
- However, they will approach/become hostile regardless after the mission "Drive-By" since it's your first notable assault against them.
(Although "Cleaning the Hood" is your first notable assault, it's technically an isolated 'no survivors' indoor scenario so I wouldn't really consider it.)
- Varrios Los Aztecas
- They will approach/become hostile after the mission "Nines and AK's" if wearing Grove-related clothing.
- WITH Mod #2: They will approach/become hostile after the mission "Ryder" if you have visible Grove tattoos.
- They no longer approach/become hostile after the mission "Cesar Vialpando" due to notable relations.
- You can recruit them after the mission "High Stakes, Low Rider" since you achieve notable recognition.
- Los Santos Vagos
- They will approach/become hostile after the mission "Nines and AK's" if wearing Grove-related clothing.
- WITH Mod #2: They will approach/become hostile after the mission "Ryder" if you have visible Grove tattoos.
- However, they will approach/become hostile regardless after the mission "Catalyst" since it's your first notable assault against them.
- San Fierro Rifa
- They are not hostile and do not approach you when wearing anything Grove-related, due to little canonical gang exposure/no gang significance.
- However, they will approach/become hostile regardless after the mission "Pier 69" since it's your first notable assault against them.
- San Fierro Triads (Mountain Cloud Boys, Red Gecko Tong)
- They are not hostile and do not approach you when wearing anything Grove-related, due to little canonical gang exposure/no gang significance.
- You can recruit them after the mission "Jizzy" since you achieve notable recognition.
- Da Nang Boys
- They are not hostile and do not approach you when wearing anything Grove-related, due to little canonical gang exposure/no gang significance.
- However, they will approach/become hostile regardless after the mission "Mountain Cloud Boys" since it's your first notable assault against them.
(Although "Mike Toreno" is your first notable assault, it's technically an isolated 'no survivors' scenario so I wouldn't really consider it.)
- The Mafia
(Although they normally only appear in missions, I'm adding them to this list anyways since they can be added to the streets by cheats and mods.)
- They are not hostile and do not approach you when wearing anything Grove-related, due to little canonical gang exposure/no gang significance.
- However, they will approach/become hostile regardless after the mission "Just Business" since it's your first notable assault against them.
- Custom/modded
- The ability to add custom/modded gangs and their own trigger events for hostility/neutrality/recruitment, within an .ini file.
- Mod #4 -
View player stats in vehicles
(I mean, why doesn't this exist?)
For whatever reason, you're entirely unable to view your player stats/skills while inside of a vehicle, unless you pause the game and view them there.
Having a way to keep the stats available and visible while in a vehicle is something I think this game desperately needs.

Customization for Vehicle and Location names on the HUD
(Would be great for those of us wanting a slightly modified vanilla HUD)
So I know plenty of HUD mods exist. They change all sorts of things with all sorts of options and tweaks for them. But what about keeping it simple?
It would be great if we could customize
only the settings for the Vehicle/Location names on the bottom right of the screen.
The
FPS Counter CLEO mod by Junior_Djjr has the exact kind of .ini customization I would like to see used for it.
So basically:
- PosX/PosY positions
- Font styles (Gothic, Subtitles, Menu, Pricedown)
- SizeX/SizeY sizes
- R/G/B/Alpha colours
- R/G/B/Alpha shadows with toggles
- R/G/B/Alpha borders with toggles
- Left/Center/Right alignments
- Monospace proportion toggles
- Background toggles
- Background width sizes
