This pack should be a great stress test for VehFuncs, if it's running without crashes, I'm impressed.

As a matter of fact, I haven´t experienced any VehFuncs related crashes. The ones we had before with sounds were all fixed.

It makes more sense for the reflection on the floor to be straight.

But again, excellent work.

Here I must disagree with you. As this turn light shadow effect is quite fictional (it doesn´t happen like that in real life), there is no way to make it any better. Turning them straight as on your screenshot looks way more disturbing than on the corners like I originally did.

6 years ago, when I first started converting cars there were no competent converters and high quality conversions. Now in 2020 there is still only 2-3 converters who can provide vehicles that match the GTA:SA atmosphere, have no bugs and do not cause opcodes in SA-MP/MTA. Majority of the converters active right now are incapable of converting the cars in their original sizes, causing bizarre visual effects where a small compact is taller than a person standing next to it; incapable of applying reflections that also look good without any 3rd party graphics modification and no reflections on parts that are not supposed to reflect; incapable of making cars tunable; incapable of creating damaged parts for cars.
The incompetence of other modders has motivated me to learn the art of converting and start supplying the community.

Because of it I decided to create map mods as well :v
The vast majority of mods avaliable for download at the time only contained SA-MP or GTA:SA objects stacked on top of each other, or were poorly made, using the same IDS over and over, shining in the dark, having a poorly done UV with textures repeting A LOT, faces only in one side of the mesh, high contrast textures not matching the ones from the game and/or incorrect scale. Like the 1st version of Project Freedom, but worse. And I'll still convert my mods to MTA San Andreas at some point due to the same reason, servers are almost identical. I wish we had the same freedom of Garry's Mod an other Source games in GTA San Andreas.

I like your mods. :P I'v never had any issues with them.
I'll learn to create vehicles someday.

Por causa disso que quis começar a fazer mods de mapa :v
A maioria dos que estavam disponíveis para baixar usam objetos do SA-MP ou objetos do GTA normal empilhados um em cima do outro, ou eram malfeitos, usavam mesmos IDs, brilhavam no escuro, estavam com UV malfeito, faces só de um lado, texturas com contraste alto não combinando com o jogo, texturas se repetindo MUITO e/ou escala errada. Tipo a primeira versão do Project Freedom. Eu ainda vou converter meus mods para o MTA San Andreas algum dia pelo mesmo motivo, todo servidor é mais ou menos parecido. Uma coisa que eu sempre quis é que tivesse a mesma liberdade de criação do Garry's Mod e outros jogos da Source Engine no GTA San Andreas.

Gosto dos seus mods. :P Nunca tive nenhum problema com eles.
Vou aprender a fazer carros uma hora dessas.

Some updates:

I´m currently working on the Dinka Kanjo. It is bit tougher than the other cars, as the latest update cars, Rockstar didn´t focus much on the lod1 versions of the cars (these are the versions of the cars that I normally convert). So it is more higher polycount than the rest, which is unnecessary for GTA:SA. Therefore, I´ve been manually optimizing it to match the poly count that the other cars have.
The second thing is that this car does not have enough tuning parts, which are necessary as I am going to use it as a SA Flash replacement. Therefore, all new, scratch-made tuning parts must be created. And for that I have found a guy who has been making new tuning parts for GTA V version, but of course these are also way to over-polyed which means I have to optimize again.

As the Kanjo turned out to be more difficult than I anticipated, I was forced to put it on hold. I´m currently working on converting the GTA5 Airtug with some trailers from map objects. I´ve finished with the cargo trailers, now I only need to do the stairs.

Use o SkyGFX que isso melhora.

E respondendo sua pergunta, por que o GTA SA não tem efeito metálico bom.. a melhor forma de simular isso é aumentando muito o ENV do material, mas ainda assim fica ruim e acaba bugando ao usar o SKYGFX, ou vai ficar muito azul ou preto.

Perhaps the metallic effect, could be achieved with a cubemap (For example the one that uses the Sa_DirectX 2.0) + ENB or Skygfx, or also saving incompatibilities the [xvehicleenv128] of PC + Env configuration of Skygfx. Like this texture (Based on the color of the Sa_DirectX 2.0 cubemap) [The possibility is theory]

I posted this new version on MixMods. I've been wanting for a long time, waiting for a new version, I didn't expect it to take so long.

There were exaggerated texture resolution in the bloodring, I made fixes to vehicle.txd and I think you should add vehicle2.txd to VehFuncs with additional textures (so one can use another vehicle.txd without the car be without window textures).

This isn't used. Ok put the dummy but I don't think it needs to highlight something the game doesn't even use.

The handling.cfg makes some cars (Previon, Tahoma and others) drive VERY slowly when AI controlled.
You notice this in Real Traffic Fix, but RTF doesn't control the AI, it only activates the AI, and this only happens with some cars, so it's caused by some handling configuration and this may cause problems with other mods or missions. If you find out which handling value, say it, and try to edit it if possible.

I do agree that bloodring is not a very good car, but there is no other alternative for now. I haven´t used the second vehicle.txd because I was not sure how it would function with SAMP or MTA and I haven´t managed to replace every single car just yet

Yes, most of the mods skip it and it does not exist on the original V/IV cars so it is a good idea to highlight it.

As strange as it is, even though the game doesn´t use the ped_arm dummy location, but from my experience if the model doesn´t have it (and also in the calculated location), peds don´t lean their hands out of the window

This seems bizarre, as I´m also using RTF and I don´t have this issue. I thought it might be due to missing IndieVehHandlings.cs? But looking at these cars` handling lines I don´t see anything outstanding compared to others... I really don´t understand what could cause this...
This though reminds me that cars with 1 gear (forklift and baggage handler) are weirdly affected by either MixMods or VehFuncs - the sounds are really messed up, but when these scripts are removed they are normal again

It´s to remove the casino logo from the cutscene version of stockade. The game engine slams a square in the air right next to the car, to give the illusion that the truck has that logo, while it is actually not.

And for pony, I think I wrote wrong in the picture- it should have been rumpo (I always mix these two vans)
