Putz grilla! Muito bacana esse mod. E muito simples de usar também.
Já tenho um passa tempo pra amanhã. Ficar adicionando armas no jogo e pesquisando seus áudios na net pra instalar com esse mod.
Muito bom trabalho. Parabéns cara.

Great job on the mod but the gunshots are the way too quite when other peds shooting

Única coisa que me incomodou também. Essa configuração de som 2D que usa a distância da câmera como parâmetro de altura me causa estranhamento, porque o áudio original das armas do jogo não funciona assim.

Only thing that bothered me too. This 2D sound setup that uses the camera's distance as a height parameter makes me strange, because the original audio of the game's weapons doesn't work that way.

I know, but I had no choice: CLEO's 3D Audio Streams weren't working (they had been unimplemented some time ago), and I guess I didn't want to spend time learning how to use other third-party solutions. Also, I half-intentionally ditched the game's audio system because of its limitations. I guess I will add to the to-do list: Replace the current audio system with a better one.

I am working on providing the user with a configuration file to so that they can set the mod up to their liking. Will update soon.

Are you talking about random sounds for weapons? That can be done easily.

Like different type of shoes sounds like timbs, sounds for flip flops, barefoot sounds, highheels sounds for hookers steps, sounds for slaps like females slapping C.J (custom fighting for females), different sounds for different surfaces like C.J jumping into an electric fence and getting electrocuted and he jumps and you can hear the electric sounds like this .

When you shoot a pedestrian or enemy with a taser and you hear them making the electricity sound, different explosion sounds instead of the same one being played like for small and big explosions sounding different, different sounds for like when C.J is idle he could play an animation cracking his joints like Niko does and the cracking his joints sounds play.

I have lots of ideas that could make the game more advanced and immersive and sounds play a big role in that.

The latest update is nearly done, so I will do this for the next one, along with looping support.

The sounds for getting hit I can see, and will likely get supported whenever melee weapons' sounds do (maybe they are the same). But all the other stuff is outside the scope of this mod, no?

Not trying to be dismissive, but this game's audio system is a beast that I can't wrangle, at least for now. Who knows, though? Thanks for the suggestions: I will try to do them whenever I am able to.

Try to make custom sounds for custom pedestrians footsteps and C.J shoes and just that is enough. It's something that is missing from the game imo. Nothing else is important, everybody will like this detail.

Also add more sounds in the ambience folder so i can add more sounds in the map like vehicle horns, emergency sirens, drum loops for the hood, car alarms, movie sets noise, party music for the hood and suburds, dogs barking etc... Please SAAS is bad...

I really want to keep my SA Copy clean, I already have too many folder on the main directory.

I finally got some time between all the business and pumped out an update- tell me how I did!

Update 1001:

Replaced the 2D audio system (CLEO's 2D Audio Streams) with a 3D one (irrKlang's 3D Audio Playback).
Added support for melee weapons' sounds (swing and hit).
Added support for weapons' reloading sounds.
As requested: Load the Earshot folder from the Data folder, if it exists- otherwise from the default location.

the first version worked without any problems , this last installation and transfer of audio files freezes at the time of the ak shot , if you enter the menu then back into the game , then the game will continue . Are there any restrictions on the sounds used?

Well, nothing much has changed except dropping MP3 support, I guess. Send me the audio file, maybe? Also show me the Earshot folder.

Seems fine. Maybe try removing ".earshot" from the "AK47.earshot" folder, renaming it to "AK47".
If that doesn't work, I guess you could send me the audio file so I can take a look.

the reason is trivial , apparently the problem was in the length of the file being played . Replaced it with a shorter sound and it worked . Here 's another thing , I noticed that with this version , with the same installation in the modloader , the game began to load noticeably longer than before

I checked again , it doesn 't work with ak anyway
