Is it Okay to rename CLEOs and ASIs?

I was wondering it i could rename some .cs and .asi since some of them are in other languages and i sometime get confused if what was the file i was looking for.

So if someone can tell me it's okay to rename certain cleos or asi plugins...

I know about the .ini(s) though.

Yes you can. But don't change the .INIs names.

Is there's a way to find out the real name of a certain asi plugin? I tried to google but it seems the mod is dead so i was wondering if that would affect the game or anything.

I think .asi is rare. Some cleo mods like MDPMv5 use for example one .cs file for main script and other scripts that is called by main script (i.e. when you activate the mod the main script call other scripts). So, if you change the name of MDPMv5 files, the mod will not work.
It's not common btw.
Something interesting is that the fastman92 limit adjuster is named with a $ at the name start to change the loading order and thus have certain compatibilities. Don't remove it.

edit: There's mods that load other mods, for example some .asi can export functions for other mods, and other mods need to find that .asi file and load it.
